GNSS-Denied Navigation Training for Modern Military Operations
Prepare personnel to operate confidently in GPS-jammed, spoofed and degraded navigation environments, before they meet them in the field.
When GPS fails, training matters.
GPS jamming and spoofing are now a routine part of modern conflict, and the interference regularly spills into civil airspace and shipping lanes. Every platform that relies on GNSS for position, navigation and timing is exposed: vehicles, vessels, aircraft and uncrewed systems.
The problem for trainers is simple. You can't jam GPS over a training area. Live jamming affects everyone in range, including civil aviation, and needs approvals that are rarely given. So most personnel meet a denied or deceived GNSS environment for the first time on operations.
Realistic GNSS-denied training with PARALLAX
A BETTER STANDARD OF TRAINING
TRAIN BEYOND THEORY
Move from classroom understanding to practical experience
PREPARE FOR CONTESTED ENVIRONMENTS
Expose crews to navigation challenges before deployment
Parallax sits inline between a platform's GNSS antenna and its receiver, and injects real jamming and spoofing signals straight into the receiver. Nothing is radiated, so you can train anywhere, at any time, with no need to notify air traffic control.
Exercise planners lay down virtual jammers on a map and set when each one is active. Each Parallax unit knows where it is and models what every jammer would do to its receiver. As a vehicle, vessel or aircraft closes on a jammer, its GNSS degrades steadily, just as it would for real.
Every scenario is repeatable, so instructors can build from first exposure to full denial and deception, and assess progress run by run.
BUILD OPERATIONAL CONFIDENCE
Allow personnel to develop decision-making under realistic conditions
DELIVER REPEATABLE SCENARIOS
Run consistent exercises that support progression and assessment
Train GNSS-denied. Anywhere. No emissions.
HOW PARALLAX WORKS
Parallax sits inline between any GNSS antenna and receiver. No integration, no modification, nothing radiated.
Inline jamming
Spoofing capable
Dual waveform
Exercise-wide management
Scenario Builder
Lay down virtual jammers on the map, set their power and waveforms, and schedule when each one is active. Each Parallax knows where it is and calculates what every jammer would do to its receiver, so a platform heading towards a jammer sees its GNSS get steadily worse using accurate RF propagation modelling based on terrain elevation data from our or your own sources.
Works with any GNSS receiver on any platform, with no integration or modification. No radiated emissions, so no air traffic control notification or regulatory paperwork.
Generates spoofing signals on-device or replays IQ files, so forces train against deception as well as denial.
Two independent jamming waveforms at once, each set for frequency, power and waveform type, on any GNSS channel and constellation.
Run all units in an exercise from one laptop through a dedicated UI. Change scenarios, step back/forwards and override waveform, frequency and power per unit on the fly.

-
Training crews to navigate and operate when GPS and other satellite navigation signals are jammed, spoofed or degraded. Parallax lets you run it on real platforms, with real receivers, during normal exercises.
-
It connects by cable between the GNSS antenna and the receiver and injects jamming directly into the receiver input. The live satellite signal still passes through, so the receiver sees a realistic mix. Nothing is radiated.
-
Yes. It can degrade, jam and spoof. Spoofing signals are generated on the device or replayed from IQ files.
-
A lab GNSS simulator replaces the sky with synthetic signals. Parallax keeps the real sky and adds RF-modelled jamming based on each unit's live position, so effects build and fade as platforms move around the training area.
